It utilizes Philips SMART Biphasic technology to deliver a highly effective defibrillation shock which is also gentle to the heart. Its SMART Analysis ensures the unit only shocks when it needs to. The patient’s rhythm is analyzed and the unit will only deliver a shock when the heart rhythm determines a shock is needed, even if the shock button is accidentally pushed.
